Dear Disruptors 😎
We believe beauty, fashion, and lifestyle are not performances or trends, but rituals, identities, and cultural languages. Our mission is to explore these domains as forces of self-expression, ethics, inclusivity, and emotional truth.
We share stories which elevates everyday practices into meaningful narratives, rooted in care for people, culture, and the planet.
Let’s dive in.
FASHION
Fashion Show redefining innovation, beauty, style and female empowerment.

Indonesian designer Indah Nada Puspita steals the show at Jakarta Fashion Week 2025.
The runway featured modest, empowering, timeless designs fit for every occasion.
Designs went beyond beautiful clothing, incorporating local cultural and religious identities.
The designs also tap into the Costume Drama / Period Fashion Films trend which is increasingly becoming popular at weddings and other events.

Jakarta Fashion Week is one of Southeast Asia’s premiere fashion events and it took place on 27th October to 2nd Nov 2025.
Strong Emphasis on Indonesian Heritage. Batik, kebaya, and Wastra Nusantara (traditional textiles) are highlighted as key cultural pillars in the 2026 collections.
Resort Wear & Lifestyle Fashion: Resort wear is highlighted as a growing category. Its comfortable, chic, and aligned with Indonesia’s tropical lifestyle and tourism culture.
Key programs included:
Lomba Perancang Mode Menswear (LPMM); a major menswear design competition.
Jakarta Fashion Force: An initiative to elevate Jakarta as Southeast Asia’s fashion capital.

Why It Matters?
For far too long customers have looked towards the west such as London Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week or MET Gala for design inspiration, trending ideas and frankly fast fashion. There are many examples where a certain celebrity wore a dress and it went viral over night, for it to be available on Shein in less than 48 hours. Jakarta Fashion Week, its designers and programs were designed to deliver sustainable, valuable, meaningful wear, driven by personal identity rather than fandom culture. We have no doubt that similar events like Jakarta Fashion Week will question the existing school of thought around fashion and its consumption. Watch this space.

Are The Latest Nail Polish Innovations Worth Trying?

Key Points:
Nail polish is going sci‑fi with robots, apps, and cleaner formulas. Is every trend worth chasing? Know what adds value for you.
Get fully automated manicures plus nail polish application with a robot.
Change your nail polish colours with your phone. Electronic press-on nails let you switch shades in seconds.
Your gel nail polish just got a safety upgrade. Brands are ditching TPO, a possible fertility-risk ingredient banned in the EU.
Details:
Robot Manicurists in retail beauty stores use an AI-powered arm to remove old polish, shape nails, trim cuticles, and apply new colour from a selected range.
Get fast, precise, on-the-go nails while shopping, with no salon visits, but not the custom nail art.
Digital nails are press-on acrylics with built-in tech, synced to an app controlling what appears on each nail.
Match your nails instantly to any outfit, as many times as you want, without removing or reapplying polish.
These nails come with a high price, short lifespan, can’t be trimmed, and raise questions about practicality and durability in long water use.
TPO, a prominent chemical in gel polish, cures the polish quickly under UV/LED light and gives that glossy, long-lasting finish.
As brands and salons switch to safer formulas, your favourite shades may temporarily vanish. Look out for "TPO-free" labels on polish and confirm with your salon or retailer before diving in.
Why It Matters:
Consider the trade offs with every nail polish innovation and trend. Does more convenience bring more satisfaction to you? A machine paints perfectly, but it can't replace human touch and craftsmanship. Tap-to-change colours feel exciting, yet endless options can overwhelm you. Think whether it is a one-time fun experience or truly worth the price. How often do you question what's in your products before trusting them blindly? Regulations remind you to. In a tech-driven future, salons and professionals will have to lean even more on human artistry. The real insight isn’t in what’s new, but in knowing what truly fits your lifestyle.

Can Your Clothes Heal You?

Key Points:
Ayurvastra, a generational Indian technique where fabric is infused with medicinal herbs and oils, to heal your body through your clothes.
As you wear these clothes, healing compounds are absorbed through your skin and inhaled, providing relief for external skin conditions and internal body functions.
Ayurvastra uses organic plant fibers and herbal dyes, avoiding synthetic chemicals that can irritate skin or interfere with natural healing.
Once used to treat wounded soldiers, Ayurvastra is now found in hospital bedding such as infant wraps for infection protection, and everyday wellness clothing.
Details:
Ayurvastra’s principle is simple: our skin absorbs substances through pores, especially while resting and sweating.
Fabrics are hand-woven on looms to keep fibers porous so they can absorb the medicinal compounds like a sponge when submerged in herbal baths.
Natural fixatives, like aloe vera or alum, lock nutrients and dyes into the fibers.
Plants provide therapeutic value and colors: Turmeric for anti-inflammation (yellow), neem for antibacterial protection (green), indigo for cooling (blue), castor oil for temperature regulation (black), and sandalwood for soothing burns (red).
A Kerala government clinical trial reported marked improvement in patients with arthritis, rheumatism, eczema, and psoriasis within one month of use of Ayurvastra textiles.
From sleep-enhancing bedsheets and toxin-free curtains to allergy-friendly innerwear and stress-relieving yoga mats, these textiles provide a complete healing environment.
Why It Matters:
"We are what we eat, we are what we wear" is a mantra highlighting that our choices in clothing (just like food), interconnect with our identity, health, and environmental impact. Food either nourishes or poisons the body, similarly the materials we wear, and the way they are produced, affect our well being and the planet. In a world of synthetic clothes and “forever chemicals”, your lifestyle upgrade needs what the earth has provided you for centuries. We have smart textiles to fitness trackers to better understand what's going on with our health metrics but nothing to inform us on healing. Ayurvastra is nature's technology which responds to your body heat to actively heal you. Sounds magical and ancient, yet surprisingly futuristic. By choosing these bio-active clothing, you can turn a simple act of dressing into a holistic wellness tool that works without effort around the clock.
Watch for more on Ayurvastra.
